Every therapeutic massage begins with several minutes of relaxation work, either massage or Reiki, to calm the mind and body and ease muscular tension.
Depending on your preference and tolerance, I gradually work into deeper massage techniques to release stiff, tense muscles and increase range of motion.
Each massage is tailored to your personal goals, whether you are looking for an hour to relax and unwind or to relieve specific tension or injury.
Whatever the reason you came in your will leave feeling refreshed and renewed and ready to meet your daily activities with ease and grace.

Reiki
What is Reiki
Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is an ancient form of healing originating in Japan. Reiki. or universal life force energy, is the energy found in all living things.
What Can I Expect from a Reiki Session?
You will lie on a massage table fully clothed without shoes. You may wish to be covered by a light blanket. If one chooses, I can begin the session with an affirmation or positive healing statement. I begin by placing my hands on or above the body usually beginning with the head. Depending on what your need is, I will move through a series of hand positions, covering the entire body, being careful to avoid any private areas.
Why Choose Reiki?
Reiki has been proven to decrease stress and increase relaxation. When the body is in a relaxed state all body systems function more efficiently, increasing circulation, improving immune function, decreasing muscle tension. Reiki may also alleviate pain and promote more restful sleep.

If you are late for a scheduled appointment 24-hours notice is required. Appointments cancelled with less than 24-hours notice will be charged the full price of the service.
