Dennis J. Matos DC, MS, CCSP, USAW1 – Graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West Campus. Before coming to Massachusetts, Dr. Matos completed his two-year residency at North Western Health Sciences University in Minnesota. There, Dr. Matos worked at the human performance center and provided care for athletes from over 12 different sports. These athletes ranged from high school to the professional level and included jiu-jitsu, women’s football, Olympic weightlifting, and hockey, to name a few. In the last year of his residency, Dr. Matos provided chiropractic care at Augsburg University for both the men’s and women’s sports teams. He also taught different classes ranging from extremity care to post-operative rehabilitation courses. He attended Concordia St. Paul, where he graduated with his Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science.
Dr. Matos specializes in biomechanics and rehabilitation in sports but loves to treat anyone that wants to regain pain free activity! Dr. Matos believes everyone is unique and different regardless of what injury they come in with, which is why he spends time getting to know the patient and what their goals are. Through education and the utilization of different chiropractic techniques, Dr. Matos empowers each patient to help them overcome their pain!
Dr. Matos is a certified Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR) provider, Functional Range Conditioning movement specialist (FRCms), USA Weightlifting Level 1 (USAW1) Coach and a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).
